Hi, I’m Nelly.

I’m a mum to four incredible kids (three young adults and one six-year-old) and wife to the most encouraging husband – my biggest supporter and believer in my art. My family is at the heart of who I am, and being a mum and wife is woven deeply into everything I do.

Through the years of raising a family and working as a visual arts teacher, I’ve know my purpose has always been to paint. Creativity has been the quiet thread running through every season of my life. From the early hopes I carried through University to the clarity I feel now, I know without a doubt… I am an artist.

Faith is at the core of who I am. It’s the lens I paint through, shaping how I see the world, and how I express it through my art. Every artwork reflects my faith, my story, and what I love most.

I’m endlessly inspired by the ocean; the colours of the Ningaloo Reef, the peace I feel while painting it, and the beauty of the whales that remind me how vast creation really is. There’s always more to see when you look beyond the surface, and I’ve learned to paint what I love… because that love is what pours in, and what pours back out.

When someone connects with my art, I know my heart has reached theirs and that is why I paint. Thank you for being part of it, and for feeling it too. ✨🐋🪸
